A loss in extra-time to arch-rivals New Zealand has left the Australian Men’s Sevens team with a 6th place finish on the final day of the Las Vegas leg of the World Series.

The Australian Men’s Sevens team will have to make do with a 5th place play-off against Kenya at the Las Vegas Sevens, after falling to the reigning champion BlitzBokke 29-17 in the Cup Quarter-Finals at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Coming off the back of a win in Sydney and third place in Hamilton, the Australian Men’s Sevens team kicked off the fifth leg of the HSBC World Sevens series in Las Vegas in buoyant mood.
