A trimmed-down squad of 23 players has been named for the Australian Schoolboys internationals against New Zealand and Tonga in October. Both games will be played in Brisbane, ahead of a tour to the UK and Ireland later in the year.

“New Zealand Schools and Tonga Schools present two very different styles of Rugby so it’s a very good test for these players so early on in their Rugby careers,” said Australian Schools Head Coach Andrew Moloney.

“To be able to play for your country on home soil is a great privilege and one that we are not taking lightly, and the team is looking forward to playing at Ballymore.”

The squad features 15 representatives from New South Wales, five from Queensland, and three from the ACT.
