VIDEO: Three debutants named for opening series clash with Ireland

Michael Cheika has backed the newcomers in his squad to stand up and shine after naming debutants Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Caleb Timu in his run-on Wallabies side to take on Ireland in Brisbane tomorrow night, with new Brumbies recruit Pete Samu on the bench.

Cheika explained his selections to the media yesterday, while Paenga-Amosa struggled to hide his excitement, after a meteoric rise from club to international rugby over the last 12 months.

The clash is the first of a three-test series against Ireland, who currently sit second on the World Rugby test rankings.
